I've got the OCT chip (love it!) the milltek race cats and exhaust (love it!....but pricey for what you get..)

next step was the aquamist sprayer....3 nozzles total..one per intercooler and one in the intake plenum.. this is to keep my intake temps cool in the heat of the arizona summers. i also have a temp gauge in my intake now that i can read inside the car.

picking it up tomorrow. woot!!:addict:

Just a quick note... have been looking into the aquamist system - looks excellent.. but you mentioned your intrcoolers and i remember reading someplace that injection prior to these can cause some possible problems with moisture settling in the bottom becoming drops / pools that can cause corrosion and / or be sucked further into the system - engine.
I'm still looking for an article i found on placement and perhaps i misunderstood your reference to intercoolers but a headsup is always good eh.
Here's a quote from the aquamist site :<table border="0" width="255"><tbody><tr><td align="center">
Water jet locations...
http://www.aquamist.co.uk/rescr/fitting/grdt.GIF

</td> </tr> <tr> <td> 13. Where do I place the water jet?
Normally immediately after the intercooler unless the intercooler suffers from heat soaking such as the type that is fitted on top of the engine (Subaru, GTI-R, Toyota Celica and etc).

14. Surely if the jet is placed before the intercooler it will have better cooling effects?
Not quite true. If the air entering the intercooler is pre-cooled, the cooling efficiency of the intercooler will drop due to the smaller temperature differentials between the ambient air and induction air within the intercooler core. Secondly, there is also a possibility that the hot air from the turbo may cause unnecessary vaporisation of the injected water thus taking up precious volume that was intended for the charge air.

Found it - a must read!! http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.com/a40/Where-Do-I-Position-My- (http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.com/a40/Where-Do-I-Position-My-Water-Methanol-Injection-Nozzles/article_info.html)

And this stuff was from someone on here i believe.
Position..there is a pic but i couldn't grab it.

Enjoy.. and i'd love to here install details when ya get it done. You didn't need the OCT chip mapped for WI??

I;'ll ask. I think they are actually after the intercooler. The guy builds race cars, mostly turbo porsches, and was the audi master tech for the RS6 prior to openeing this shop, so I have faith. But I will ask. and post pics.
