This facelift is very good, and S3 Sportback is looking GREAT, but I think that A3 is starting to look little bit outdated compared to its competition...

S-Tronic is going to be available - sure - there is no reason why AUDI will put it into the TT and not the S3 ...

I've read that the S-Tronic is comming - also the MagneticRide will be available for S3

Sorry, wrong information ... MagneticRide not only for S3 ...
MR is available for both TDI's and all petrol engines over 118kW (160HP)

It will be interesting to see what Magneticride does to the already excellence dynamics of the S3. For me the pick of the range will be the S3 Sportback with it's slightly better weight balance.

I wouldn't be to sure that S/Tronic won't work it's way into the S3 eventually, maybe Audi are waiting until the DSG 7sp becomes available for it, who knows.

Amazing they didn't seize the facelift to put the 2.0T engine evolution seen in the TT-S: 272hp + DSG/Stronic... They did it with the previous S3 model: 210hp to 225hp...

Any other S-model without automatic transmision??? NONE

Maybe they did it because then the 3.2 wouldn't have sense? (Although that already happens in the TT models)

I can't understand it...

My only hope...with the S5 has taken long time until the automatic transmision has been available, but the new A3 will be here within 2 or 3 years so they can't wait too much!!

In my case, they have lost one sure buyer...

But the TT-S also has the S-Tronic - so why don't put it into the S3 also?! Until the 7 speed DSG is available - don't know - we'll see
