So why would they build a Cayman Turbo?
(Note LED running lights?)

Now anybody with half a brain cell must realise that the little Cayman chassis has enough potential to really show up its elder brother, the 911. But because it's the 'cheap' Porsche (http://www.porsche.com/), the MR2 from Stuttgart, the only hot ones we see are those made outside of the Porsche factory.

The VLN is full of hot, GT3-powered, Caymans.

With its mid-engined layout, rigid chassis and featherweight build the Cayman is the ideal race car. But last year some of the fantastic privateer Caymans on the grid were suddenly replaced with money-can't-buy factory-backed RSR 911s. For me this confirmed that Porsche don't want the 911 toppled by its younger sibling and were dealing with the teams who pushed the Cayman.

It sounds like a turbo, Seriously.

And yet, once again*, the Cayman Turbo is out testing. Surely they'll never sell it? It's on Ludwigsburg plates, so it's undoubtedly an official Porsche AG car. Is this a special edition? Are we going to get a GT4 Cayman? Or do my ears deceive me? The world needs to know!
