Any of you guys from the UK got a dealer warranty, be warned, as of last week CV boots are no longer covered under warranty and are considered wear and tear.
Mine went in for some new rear tyres (some B*stard put aload of clout nails under both back tyres) and while it was on the ramp they noticed the boots, was told it was all covered, so as my Cornish counterpart Jethro would say, "go you ahead". they got half way through fitting them, then phoned me to say that they had made a mistake and they weren't covered, what did i want to do!!! it was going to cost £300ish quid to carry on and complete, or £500 if they start from scratch.

I mananged to wangle a deal out of them in the end, but be warned!!

I paid $400 for one....dam road hazard. but I have to agree, that is a wear and tear issue as a road hazard = winter BS does it...the remaining three were checked and were fine....
