Notice almost all of the Ariel's gain was in the first 7 seconds after which point it gained very little if anything and by the looks of it nearing the end the CSL was starting to pull back some of the early ground it lost.
This is the weight advantage that affects acceleration, but only at low to medium speeds and it's the reason why the RS6 will out accelerate an M5 in the long run. PTW only really holds an advantage for a very short period, real power is where acceleration is felt at high speeds. :hihi:
