Actually, I had forgotten, my wife paid for that tank full yesterday. I have been told to tell you......:lovl:
(Reckon she only filled it up because she thinks you need petrol to make the TV work!)

£100 fill-ups - welcome to the UK! What I wouldn't give for your US cost of fuel....
But how did you get 87 litres in the car - you must have been running on pure fumes when you stopped!

Reckon I could have got another litre or two in too, jsut could face having an "over £100" fill up!
It had said "0" miles left for 10 miles.

most I ever put in was 84.1 and that was slow trickle at the end - I see the receipt, but it is hard to believe that the factory 82 l would come up aabout 6 litres more .... :vhmmm:
If you use same pump ........

Did you need to get the attendant to authorise the fuel over about £80's worth? - I've heard stories of people filling up but when the pump gets to about £80 they need to get the garage attendant to okay the extra fuel, a bit like when they first authorise your fill up when you start pumping.
I think its to stop chavs filling up 100's of plastic bags in their boots and driving off. :hihi:

the pumps at the garage where i fill up just now cut out at £60 (gbp)! Which is just ridiculous when fuel prices are so high. I have to fill to £60, pay and then add another £20 quids worth! :( Unfortunately it's the only garage locally that sells super unleaded.

we've been paying over £1 gbp for petrol for years, never had a top up that big on the RS2 (the tank is only 55ltrs or so) But the A8 and Q7 often top a £100 GBP in petrol or diesel.(100+lts tank) Diesel costs the same as petrol here after the government raised the tax.

haha, I just pumped full tank of V-Power Diesel in to Q (99.6l) at the tune of $242 (going exchange rate .....)
I still don't buy the 87.6 liter in RS6 - this is a theft, the gas tank in beast will not baloon up that much no matter what
