I personally don't think you can beat Sprint Blue Metallic, it stands out from all other colours, not only Audi.

Your views ?

Sprint is nice but Daytona Grey, Avus Silver and Mugello Blue are my favourites, in that order.

1. Metallic Black (with black optics pack)...nightmare to keep clean but just plain nasty
2. Ibis White...looks best when the sun's out
3. Daytona Gray...subtle

White looks beautiful.
Mugello Blue looks wonderful with light and dark.
Black doesn't go wrong.
Against daytona gray, sorry.
Sprint blue is classic, sporty, and LOUD =)

Thanks for posting pics but like yellow that color goes against what the RS4 is all about, in my opinion. A Lambo or P-car maybe, but not for an aggressive super sedan.

suzuka grey is hands down the best color for the rs4 or any audi for that matter. unfortunately, the pictures never do justice to the color. it really shifts from white to grey to near blue when you walk around it. it looks so damn good.

Everyone knows that Phantom Black is the ONLY colour for an RS4 - that's why Audi used it in their TV adverts (at least the TV adverts in the UK)!

I'd vote for Suzuka grey as well. Beautiful colour and feels very Audi RS.
Other than that I'd always go for Phantom black. The car is just made for that colour...

Although, it can be a tad difficult to keep clean :hihi:

hey, i think you maby be confusing me for someone else. that RS4 does not belong to me ( i wish it did). i took the pictures on the streets of Le Mans this summer.

I find it's no worse than the Nogaro Blue S4 I used to have, and MUCH better than silver or (especially) white cars that I've had.

Anyway RS4s are for driving, not cleaning :revs: :incar: :rs4addict

I agree. Both my cars are silver and IMO the whole 'silver cars don't show the dirt etc.' thing is a myth.

It's where all the chrome trim around the grilles and windows (and sometimes mirrors in the case of S/RS) is deleted. I'm not a fan of it myself but each to their own!

They are hard to keep clean but not that hard as black. Lets's say the Phantomblack there is talked about in this thread.

i have to say this BLACK RS4's just look unbelievable. I did not see very much wich was more beautifuler (except my wife )...but a black RS4 just kicks ass

I disagree! There are a lot of silver cars out there, so yes they are rather too common but I think silver suits every model in Audi's range and it is the best colour to show off the bodywork's lines. I think this is the reason why it often gets chosen for the press shots when new model is launched.

I've had five Audis and they've all been silver. However there are lots of other colours I like too, and I'm sure I'll manage to wean myself off of it at some point!

Back on topic, Daytona Grey and Avus Silver would probably be my choices along with Sprint Blue.

In the UK they were nearly all Sprint Blue. When I was talking about silver being commonplace in press shots and release photos I was referring to things like the Q5, Q7 and the more mainstream 'A' models in Audi's range. :thumb:

I am one of the few who drives a Silver Metallic RS4 and I'm very happy with it, before I had a black subaru that was such a pain, especially in our conditions. The audi is a blast and easy to keep clean, also if it's clean it looks very agressive. So it's silver metallic with the optics pack. Picture has some photoshop, I don't have the original anymore.

I have only seen two silver B7 RS4s in the UK. One belongs to the guy who originally owned my (silver) B6 S4 and the other was an Avant on German plates!

Hmmmm... Audi chose to introduce the RS4 to the world in Imola Yellow at their quattro Night celebration in 2005. I guess they didn't know what they were doing. :lovl:
