My car ocassionally turns off the radio cd.The examination in workshop show that the electrical circuit has ocassionally above 16 volts so an ECU turns off the radio -cd and wipers for some seconds for protection. They changed the ECU for the electrical circuit and the altenator but the problem did not dissapear. They do not know what to do and they are waiting new instructions from Germany. They send them a lot of times protocols and they asked from Greeks to measure volts, amperes, hunting etc and everything is normal.Greek workmen want to change again the altenator. Is there anybody in this forum with this problem?

If you're getting 16 volts then the alternator regulator is faulty.
With most alternators the regulator is internal to the alternator ... so that suggests the replacement alternator is faulty.

Thank you for the answer. They beleive only to the possibility of faulty rerulator of the altenator. You are right is internal.
