They've gone Reventon-esque at the front.

Can't say I am bowled over by the rear end. puke:

Me neither, it's a huge let down! However, the front is beautiful! White is a great paint on certain cars and lambos are no exception. The stock Gallardo in white is beautiful!

I'm not impressed by these first photo's. The Reventon bumper is a total miss match for the Gallardo, and it look like something a tacky tuner came up with. The rear is alright, but doesn't improve the original. I'm sure it'll grow on me, but the LP640 knocked me back. I though you could'nt make the Murcie look any better, and the LP640 instantly made it look old. This LP leaves me cold.

To me it looks like either Audi or Lambo have lost the plot.

Lamborghini Gallardo designer Luc Donckerwolke moved to Seat.

i think that really looks good, not better than standard R8 but good enough and i think it will be a lot more changes when the car will be released so we shall be patient to see it on flash.

Lovin' it.

the rear looks terrible IMO, and if you look closely at the shot taken from behind, it looks as if only 2 out of 4 exhausts are functional, which is just terrible posing...

Please make it llok better!!

thanks for the pictures guys :)

that's HOT! especially like the beefy steering wheel... the lambos used to have pretty gay thin ones until of late.

8500rpm redline. That's going to sound intense.

Will someone change the headline.
It's Gallardo LP560-4 not LP550.

i cant edit the first message anymore.

anyway, how official is this LP560-4 name? to me it sounds untidy. Just LP560 in that case would be more suiting no? I mean, does Lambo really need to advertise the fact that its awd. a rwd would be more of an exception to the rule requiring an additional identifier.

I guess we will find out the final name in a few days in Geneva.

IhateRWD
March 2nd, 2008, 14:08
LP560 of course and Lambo will never return to RWD, 4WD is much much better and faster and i found out (whatever someone is telling that is not correct) that Murcielago Superveloce will have less weight but with 4WD like normal Murcielago. 4WD is much faster in the corners and at drag races, that was demostrated by a lot of cars so Lambo will stay with their 4WD system.

Not a big fan. The front is the only thing that looks good. The rear lights look incomplete and the wheels look tacky to me.

Love it. Only thing that should be changed is finish of the wheels. Anthracite in matte.

Agree with you on all counts. I am not impressed with the looks for the most part. However i think performance is what is bringing this car to the table.

JavierNuvolari
March 3rd, 2008, 21:54
I really like it, but as Damienr8 and HKS786 I'm not a big fan of the rear light...they do look a bit unfinished. The car will grow on me though.
As for the front....it gives me the impression that It'll take off at high speeds.

Leadfoot
March 3rd, 2008, 22:54
The problem I have with the rear is the slab of black mesh which is a big black rectangle running the width of the back. If only the rear lights where bigger and altered the shape making it narrower at the sides might help.

At first I was a bit sceptic, but now I gotta say - I love it! ;)

IhateRWD
March 4th, 2008, 20:15
looks amazing, i adore it, not because i love audi and all audi own just because is so beautifuly shaped and has a perfect back, i don't know what are you saying there that the rear is not hot cause it is. so now we are expecting the mighty R8 V10 so this has 560HP and R8 V10 will have 525HP:d

Klint
March 4th, 2008, 23:26
Looks good, but somehow it's got a taste of R8 in there. :(

Rear lights maybe?

IhateRWD
March 5th, 2008, 07:52
i saw that too, the rear light have almost the same shape like the R8 but different LED design, also some parts of the interior looks like where taken from the R8, but well Lambo is owned by Audi so is normal to be like this, especially the Navigation system is exactly the same like in the R8 and steering wheel as well. But great car and love to own one, but i would choose the R8 V10 than the LP560 because will have the same engine but R8 V10 will be detuned to 525HP, so changing the software and the exaust and the air filters could go further then his "brother" and would equall or even be faster than the LP560!
