A total of 1085 hp gather in the latest article from Audi Driver. (http://www.audidrivermag.co.uk/)
Two immensely fast RS6s are tested: the Sportec RS550 (550 hp - 632 Nm) and MTM RS6 (535 hp - 720 Nm).
The Sportec has also replaced the discs by 400 mm (front) and 355 mm (back). The original calipers are used all around, but mounted on spacing brackets to allow for the bigger discs.
The RS550 also has replaced the Audi DRC with Bilstein adjustable springs and dampers. The author is not impressed.
The Sportec wheels (gorgeous!) are 20" and weigh only 11.5 kg.
It also has a rear skirt made from carbon fibre shaped to the quad-exhast, the famous gear-change paddles and other goodies.
The RS6 by MTM runs on the standard Audi DRC suspension and the author says it's ideal for road use. For competition maybe something else should be considered.
The MTM exhaust is quite complex and the full system requires the engine to come out. The system features a system similar to what Audi uses in the TT 3.2 V6 (and new S4?). At normal throttle openings the exhaust sound is quite muffled but with the pedal to the metal the flap opens creating "a magnificent crackle, almost like that of a vintage forumla racer..."
MTM too use the stock calipers but with 380 mm discs (front).
You've heard it before, but according to Kim Collins at qstuning (http://www.qstuning.com) the Mov'it (http://www.movit.de/) 6 piston conversion is superior.
