Hypothetically, What Audi would you choose??

For fun, if you were to win a contest to receive your pick, (at no cost) of any production Audi, which would you choose to add to your current garage?

It would be a difficult decision for me between the new RS6 and the R8. The new rs6 has no comparison, which would make me the king of all 4-door sports sedan owners. Meanwhile the R8 is somewhere between a GT3 and a Gallardo. Thus, there are still supercar owners with more desirable 2-seat sports cars.

In the end, I believe that I wouldn't care about other's envy or lack of it. I would choose the R8 simply for the fact that I already have an rs6 and the R8 would be a different kind of toy. But what about you?

Sport Quattro. I have a 10 valve UR but it's a little nose heavy and needs more power (soon to be redressed by a rebuild and eventuallu EFI)

Fully loaded R8 for me, silver with carbon sideblades. The new RS6 is of course an astonishing achievement, but being single I have little need for its load carrying capacity. I would sell my S4 and use the proceeds to fund the R8's running costs. :R8kiss:

My thoughts exactly...in line for R8 and RS6 to buy in late 09 when my RS6 runs out of warranty...till I see/feel a US spec RS6 sedan to change my mind R8 it is. Still thinking about what color combo I want for R8. RS6 would be Daytona again.

This might surprise some but my choice is simple

#1 - TT/S, it's the quickest current TT but if Audi bring something soon then it would be that then.

#2 - RS6 Avant, it's just the power the practically and the space to fulfill any family's needs.

#3 - R8, it's the ultimate playboy trackday machine, sure some will be quicker but few will flatter the driver is such a way and be so forgiving when you over step the mark, something neither the GT3RS or F430 can claim.

New RS6 - sedan. I get a feeling that it will be awesome car. One thing i understood, if you want to have handling - the car will be light, not very comfortable and limited in a straight line performance. If you want power, practicality and comforts - then car will be quite heavy and big. Also an animal in a straight line. So as far as Audi is concerned - new RS6 all the way!

R8 - and i thought about this for a long time. Even though the new RS6 pulls at my performance strings (have a 03 RS6 now); the R8 just slaps you in the face when you see it in person. Now i haven't seen the new RS6 in person yet.. but i know what the R8 did to me, and does to almost everyone who sits in it. I mean how many "holy sh*t!"'s did you hear after that Superbowl commercial..?

It's just impossible to drive an R8 without a smile on your face.






(Reeeeallly woudn't complain about having the new RS6 though.. no hate here) :burnout:
