Just to mention the RS6 front window has been tested against big fat stones at 230 km/h :doh:
It was on the A44 from Düsseldorf to Aachen, and I have no idea whatsoever where it came from :eye:


Looks like I drove around in Harlem and someone shot right through my window :hihi:

Anyway, feel very lucky because the stone didn't get through, and second of all, if it got through I would not have been hit :cheers:

You know I have full insurance as well but though it would make the insurance go up if i claimed it. So do glass claims not affect your rates?

Normally it shouldn't as it has got nothing to do with the way you're driving. It is not like you caused the damage yourself, like hit a wall or another car.

Remember that sky roofs often aren't safety glass. A few friends with that option (not in RS6s) have had their entire car filled with glass from above.
