New M3 cabrio will be presented at Geneve auto salon '08, it will be offered with M DGK gearbox, BMWs version of DSG. Base price in Germany will be 73950 EUR...

i honestly think it's a really nice car!

i honestly think it's a really nice car!

Yeah for a beached whale, the thing weighs in excess of 1880kgs, it's hardly going to offer anything like the performance of the M3 coupe. To be honest I think the 335i Cabrio will give it a run for the money.

BUT ;)
I see it a little bit different. For me it's not the pub arguements, that count (mine is bigger than yours, and so on ;) ) I just like the look, the sound, the fact its a bimmer. Don't care another one is faster than me. I would love it just because of the fact I like it.
Overall I would buy a used RS4 Avant for that amount of money and invest the rest of the money for trips through the alps anyway :D... especially for snowboarding :love2: where by the way the quattro might be a big advantage (sth for the tribe table ;)) :D:D:D

I like the looks, but still don't understand why BMW put hard instead of soft top... ? :confused:

So BMW managed to put a DSG like gearbox in the M3 before audi have managed to put it in the S5.

That is weak and I hope audi understandes the importance of offering DSG in the next RS5/RS4
