Hi,

Just got back from a afternoon/night at the drag strip. Weather wasn't ideal but I am very pleased with the results!

Best ET - 12.433@113.34mph
Best Trap Speed - 114.04mph

-----------------------
R/T........0.270
60'.........1.934
330'.......5.330
660'...... 8.089
mph......91.24
1000'....10.435
ET........12.433
MPH....113.34
K/mh...182.40

Air Temp 24
Rel Humidty 88
Abs Baro 29.94
Track Temp 40
-----------------------

In total I had six runs witht the times in order as follows:

ET MPH 60'
12.513 112.59 - 1.899
12.769 109.47 - 1.982
12,508 111.91 - 1.883
12.516 113.04 - 1.908
12.515 114.04 - 1.974 -Best MPH
12.433 113.34 - 1.934 -Best ET

I have attached the time slips below.

The car's only performance modification is a custom tune from DNA Tuning. As far as I know this is the fastest ET for a "tune only" Audi RS6 and the highest mph of any RS6, please correct me if I am wrong.

Needless to say that I am over the moon especially considering how hot an humid it was at the track mean that there is even more room for improvement!!!.

I am confident the car will go 12.3 or 12.2 in cooler weather.

Happy to answer all questions

WOW!!!!!!! Nice runs.... I may have to look into this DNA tuning. Do they do TCU as well?

Boosted-Bora - Yes, DNA will only supply ECU programs with TCU maps. If you are interested PM me.

Wow, that's really impressive, congrats! What kind of octane was this on?

One thing I'm confused about is how 24 degree air temps can be considered "hot?" Are you from the north pole or something mate? :hihi:

What is the crank HP and torque on your little beastie?

Can't seem to get any meaningful information from the DNA Tuning website, how much did it run you?

I was there with RS-MAD in my car which is the same as his sedan.

Best I could manage was 13.321 @ 105.78mph on 98RON fuel.

I'm running APR's 530HP program and scatching my head about these results.

John and RS-MAD have produced the beefiest tune I've seen.

Congrats guys.

Hi, we had a database issue at Christmas on the webserver so there's not much on there, it's currently being upgraded. If you need any info mail me direct at j.robins@dnatuning.com although next few days I'm at the Autosport show in the UK

Awesome! These are the best times for a modded RS6 that I have seen! You may own the fastest street-RS6 at this point.

I just got back from getting the Revo flash on my RS6 along with the Select Plus ECU tuning box. OMG! It is INSANE the amount of power this car has now. I'm still grinning like a madman. Very happy with this $1400 upgrade. No adverse shifting or problems. In fact, the car feels MUCH smoother than before. The power band is just crazy now. Can't wait to get on the track and see what she can do.

I am in Australia. Temperature is measured in Degree Celcius

Fuel was Shell V-Power Racing 100 which is a pump fuel, the (Ron+Mon)/2=(101.1+87.8)/2=94.45

Temp is measured in Degree C. So in Degreee F it was 75.2

Determining crank HP without using an engine dyno is like predicting the weather but my 114mph trap speed means I am making more power than other RS6's that have been on the strip and in cooler conditions I am confident that 115-116mph isnt out of the question.

RS-MADAudi Fever also trapped 114mph with just the ECU and TCU software from APR. He was on similar octane as you as well.

One thing I'm confused about is how 24 degree air temps can be considered "hot?" Are you from the north pole or something mate? :hihi:Clearly an American asking the question.:lovl: World units vs. American units. The rest of the world would know 24 degrees as being a very nice day.:jlol: Great times for such a heavy ride.

I knew a while ago he was from Australia and thus that temperature was in celsius. I also know that it's impossible for a dragstrip to be open when it's below freezing. :hihi:

How many on this site are running the DNA Tuning? I'm trying to get more info but the site doesn't have anything.

Hi, as mentioned the website is about to be updated, as ever I'm concentrating on the mapping rather than the website, please email me any questions direct to j.robins@dnatuning.com I'm a smaller company that spends more time on the tuning than fancy marketing so I priortise to a better product rather than a fancy brochure!

Cheers

I was told by APR, the only way to mod the TCU is by way of a chip installation, not a flash, is this true?
