per my issue 111 of the British mag 911 & Porsche World, which just arrived today.
They were invited to a test of the new Michelin Pilot Sport tires on vrious high performance cars at the Paul Ricard circuit in France, once an F1 venue, now owned by Mr. Ecclestone. Writers from other magazines were also there to drive some of the fastest cars on these new tires.
At any rate, page 36 describes "a writer from one of those "lifestyle" magazines unintentionally conducted a crumple zone experiment using an Audi RS6 and the Armco barrier".
I would like to know which magazine has a writer so foolish that he would wreck one of Audi's best in just a few minutes behind the wheel. Anyone with connections at Michelin or Audi or 911 & Porsche World who can find out, let us all know. And I promise to never look at that magazine again!!!
