Ifthe new rs6 was coming to the states I would buy it in a second. Have not ecided what to get but probably an alpina b7 or s63.

Alpina B7 would get my vote but not to say there's anything wrong with e63 AMG. A test drive should clear things up

Agree - both are very good. But Alpina B5s is better in my opinion.
Though among B7 and S63 I would choose S63AMG - it's more stylish.

If you REALLY have to sell S8, then my vote goes to MB S 63 AMG, B7 is to outdated IMHO, don't forget that BMW is presenting all new 7 series in second half of 2008.

Still, I think that S8 is better than both of these cars... :D

Then go for S63 - it's much newer than 7-series.
I am sure that in 2009 we will see new B7 based on new 7-series platform as it was mentioned above

decided I did not want to part with the s8. Realized I prefer it over the b7 and s63, the reason I did not buy either of those cars in the first place. Bought the new limited Maserati QP GTS to have a second more sporty sedan than the s8. Liked the car quite on a bit on the test drive. Will have it this week.

As long as your are willing to take the huge financial hit with such a transaction, then maybe the S63 or the QP would be good choices.

yes have both now. the GTS is a new model. the difference between gts and gt is almost like and rs6 to an s6. only about 200 will be in the US in 2008

That's like it is limited edition car, 200 is VERY small number for US market. There will be more than one head turning after you when you pass buy... :D
