The Z06 made a 7:42 Nurburgring lap after about 4-6 laps. The ZR-1 will be faster than a Z06... a lot faster. The interior is so-so, but you don't look at the mantlepiece when you're poking the fire.

I think that's a pretty naive, out-dated view on American cars. The ZR-1 and the new Viper coupe will both be brilliant... but not as good as Jay Leno Corvette C6RS.

Some of the technology looks old fashioned at first but there's actually a good reason why they've opted to stick with it in most cases.
