This review contrasts the C63 supremacy drawn by the other mags so far.

The 0-60 is very bad for the M3 and C63. It sounds a bit strange though :vhmmm:

Thanks

The 0-60 looks about right, it’s what happened to the 533bhp/568lbft supercharged Walkinshaw VXR8 after that that I don’t understand. It should have completely dropped the ban hammer on them after 100mph. I know the conditions were wet but after 100 that shouldn’t have made much odds.

Especially when you consider that the GTR has roughly the same horsepower at the crank (supposedly) and even less torque, yet totally destroys these times. Strange isn't the word.

I actually bought this magazine and the times don't figure. The 60-100 time though the gears for the VXR8 is actually slower than the 60-100 time in 4th. Either they have a retard changing the gears or something is wrong. Autocar managed a better 0-100 with a stock 5.7 Monaro (~340bhp).

That's fast and if you check against what Autocar got from their M3 test this video seems to match it's results. The only thing that I am surprised about is the easy as to how it kept gaining speed, even after the 150mph mark.

I would love to see a RS4 video showing something similar to compare the two.

impressive I agree :revs:

Back on few RS4 owners' comments (didn't drive my beast to top speed yet) it seems the RS4 has more difficulties reaching top speed and that you can feel the car "slower" from 200/220 kph onwards.

A vid would be great I agree. Anybody getting the rare pearl ?

200-250 did the M3 in about 11.5s
A guy i know did it with his RS4 V8 Avant in about 14s.
