The 2007 S6 rims are 19 inch as you know. The off set or ET of the 19" S6 rims are 52 (ET52). The question is what is the ET of RS6 18" rims? From the ET you stated above the S6 rims have an additional 17mm. This could pose a problem in terms of clearance and fit.

Getting a little technical for me but as I recall, weren't 19" offered in Europe for the RS6? So, unless the S6 19" is much bigger (in terms of width), I don't see why not?

What was the wheel size on the C5 S6? 18-19"? It should fit. Again, you need to go by the offset (ETs listed). Recently, I switched the 19" rims of my '07 S6 to 20" rims of the new S8. It worked perfectly because the ET on the 20"s are less than the the ET on the 19"s. The ET on the new S6 19" wheels are 52. You need to be near this number on the original rims. Also, I highly recommend checking with Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com)) and playing with their wheel selection. It will give you an excellent idea if your rims will fit. Choose 19" for your model year S6 and look at the various ETs(offset) to get the range you need to be in.

Thanks so much,
Originall size 17" it in EU C5 S6, my rims is sportec 18" 255/40/17. Original rs6 rims are 18" and 19". So i`m thinking that 17" winter rims will not fit because of the big alcon rotor 14,5" but i never tryed, thats why asked mayse someone use 17" rims on rs6

Brakes should be the major factor as far as fit.

I did some quick research as fitting rims is an art form almost these days. As an example, a 2002 S6 Avant can be fitted with 19-inch wheels (no 20-inch wheels were offered). The general offsets were in the 35-38mm range with 38mm maximum offeset (ET) wheels that I saw offered. The 2003 RS6 had options of both 19-inch and 20-inch wheels with 19-inch rims having offsets anywhere from 32mm-38mm and the 20-inch wheels having offsets at 30-32mm. Knowing that the the 2007+ S6 wheels have an offset of 52mm, I would highly recommend doing a fitting first as they might be too wide for the previous generation A6 body-style. I say this because I did not see any wheels with ETs (offsets) in the upper 40s as this where you would want them to be. I would need to know what the OEM offsets (ET) are on your originals from Audi. Generally, if you purchase the wheels from your Audi dealer, they should allow you to fit one rim to make sure it fits properly before having you pay for them. And things like calipers, brakes, tire pressure monitoring systems play into the fitting. Best of luck. I hope you can do it because they will look awesome. Too bad you did not contact me earlier, I would have given you my set of 4 19-inch 2007 S6 wheels with tires (less than 7000 miles on them) for free.

I did not know you were Moscow, so sending you the rims is out of the question:) . Good luck on getting them though.

Yes it might be a great problem to sending rims to moscow, mayby not a problem but the price of sending might be more that rims costs :lovl:
