The A6 will get a mid-cycle redesign and it should continue to be upper market to the new A4. I am quite sure Audi is already ahead of the game in moving the A6 upwards and the next generation A8 will do the same. I'll the A6.

Guys, why Audi made 3.2 with Tiptronic, both A5 and A4, but 3.0TDI only with a manual gear shift? Why no Tiptronic on 3.0TDI?

There will be Tiptronic for A4/A5 3.0 TDI, of course, Audi just didn't offer it from the start, don't ask me why... I don't know. I know that now you can order Tip' for A5 3.0 TDI, and you as all other Audi costumers can have it from early '08. A4 will get it too, soon...

Apparently the B8 will have LED tails, which will look awesome with the design of the tail. Too bad the A5 didn't get them.

I have a tiptronic 3.0TDi in my Q7 and have driven the A5 3.0TDi in manual form, given the chose I would pick the manual everytime. It suits the 3.0TDi engine beautifully and provides a better control over the engine's torque range than the auto.

Now if Audi see fit to add the DSG then my opinion may change.........very quickly..........just like it's gear change.

As far as i'm informed, the tail light LEDS will come sometime in 2008, for both A4 and A5 - so probably before facelift.

Regarding the engines i would also go for the 3.0TDI (until the S4 arrives). What a masterpiece. So subtle, and yet so unbelieveably fast :love:.

Leadie: Any news regarding the new high-powered 3.0TDI? I personally haven't heard a thing lately :vhmmm:.
