I used to own an EVO! I think that EVO was all "prettied" up. The RS4 base would beat the EVO in a straight line...but if the guy driving the EVO spent more money on making his car go fast instead of making it "bling" as it did tremendously in the video it would have been a better race!!!! Those EVO's are very easily modded to go fast! Mine had over 320 to the wheels and i only spent about 4k in mods! but the RS4 looks so much better lol!

RS4 is stock. I believe the guy is on one of the boards and he said it was Stock. I guess saying modded makes the evo guy feel better.

A stock EVO should be capable of matching a RS4 to just before the 100mph mark. I would have thought that a modified one should be capable of beating a stock RS4.
Unless this EVO is stock then I am under the impression that the RS4 is also modified.

No way a stock EVO will match a stock RS4. Just look around for track info, 1/4mile numbers for both, you'll see is a pretty big difference.
As you were able to see from the video, the eVO was pretty moded, or else the guy just installed tons of colorful watches into his car. And the RS4 was also rounded up to 500hp - I wonder how.. Cause with just an exhaust+chip you only get 25hp, maybe with a small turbocharger kit.

Mabye the guy in the EVO lost because he can't even count to three..LOL! He takes off on 2 beeps or 1 & 3/4 if he really wants the jump. If he were to race on Pinks they would take his ride in three.

The evo mods probably make it lag way too much, it looked better from 0.

Maybe in the UK the EVOs perform better than the rest of the world, quite a few reviews have had EVOs accelerating to 30mph, 60mph and 100mph in 1.3s, 4.6s and 11.6s respectively. Only the 100mph mark does the RS4 pull real daylight between the two cars and that was what I was saying in my previous post.

I was reading the comments people left on youtube, and the guy who owns the EVO says that he has 50k worth of mods on it

Well in may be possible if he paid for every modifiation not in post European Euros but in pre Italian Lira. :lovl:
