Engine updates?

im wondering when audi bring out completly new engines. they need them in my mind. look at bmw they are updating their engines (also before facelifts) like hell in comparision with audi. look at 330i, at first 252hp now 272. on the other engines like 3 engine-horsepower updates too. audi has the 2.0 TDI sooo long on the market and dont update them much. the 140hp and 170hp version from the A3 is on the Q5 and new A4 also. also the 3.2 V6 250 and now 265hp. they have to update their engines more and bring new ones out in their new cars or facelifts. (3.5 TT or 3.5 TDI or something). when is audi putting out completly new engines ??? and do you think audi is updating their engines (more hp) in future more???.

Audi has prepared new 3.0l V6 biturbo TDI to match BMWs 3.0l biturbo diesel from 335 d, 535 d, 635 d...

Also, B8 S4 will get completly new engine, TT RS will get one too...

You can't bore everything out. The 3.2 is probably stuck at 3.2. You have to run the technology a certain amount of time before switching it. Otherwise you burn up money. Look at the latest BMW profits, less than expected as their costs are going up quite a bit.

i dont mean bore up, mean just spending more power on lifecycle like bmw do on their models. like 3.2 250hp to 3.2 270hp or something. modification on exhaust or engine programming.

Audi make new engines much more often than BMW/Merc.

just SOME new engines (only entry-levet, or 'normal' engines);

New 1.4TFSI-unit.
New 1.8TFSI (In four versions)
Upcoming revised 2.0T FSI
New 2.8FSI V6
New version 3.2FSI V6
New 2.0TDI commonrail (first ones delivered later this very month)
New version of 3.0TDI this year
New version of 2.7TDI this year
New version 4.2TDI V8

There are even more, with minor updates ^^

AND, a lot new on the drawind board, for example 3.0TDI biturbo, as AndyBG said.
