Guys, you are forgetting something.

thats wrong, TSI is from VW not from Audi

vw and audi share their knowledge... everything VW can do, Audi can do, too. The same counts the other way round.

/e: BUT this sheet is, as far as i know, nothing official... so it`s up to you to believe in this, or not....

Dear Friends,

this drawing is old (2005) and fake. Remember "Iceman" aka. HZW DESIGN?

i think it's not exactly like this...for example ... VW cannot use Quattro from AUDI :) there are a lot of things which they share...(engines, ...) but also some things that they don't share :)

yeah of course, totally agree... just wanted to say, that if they need something the other brand already has in its technical equipment (don't know how to explain better) it's easy to share them... of course there is no "must" to do so, but it's possible without big problems.

sry for the misunderstanding

as far as I know is the diffrence in the all wheel drive system a result of using different engine positioning (along (?) and diagonal) is that true? or is just a philosophy... isn't the quattro system in the A3 and TT a 4 Motion from VW? And the AWD in the VW Passat is a Quattro, if I#m not mistaken. But the two brands use respectively their name for both systems. I'm not 100% sure but I think I'm right here...

... VW Passat is a Quattro, ....

That is correct, Passat B5 was Quattro, new B6 isn't... transversal engine.
