hey guys, i have a quastion. I've bought Audi A4 2.8L 1995, and as i knew it hed 30valves, but few days ago, a mechanic of junior rally team "Audi Club Georgia" told me that it had 12 valves.. Can you Tell me exactly what kind of engine is in my B5

the 2 Valves per Cylinder.

The 5v per cylinder thing was all a pointless gimmick anyway. Pretty much nobody uses more than 4 now.

That 5V technology gave me so much problems... I really think that it was one of the Audis (VAGs) rear misses...

The '95 models were still the old 12v 174hp versions yes, in '96 it became the (much better) 30v 193hp version.

And I wouldn't say the 5V tech was a mis, just look at the 1.8T 20V engines and what they can achieve ;)

thanks, guys. I like this 12valve engine, it is really good in corners...
