Audi A3 Cabriolet, tomorow ?

Audi AG's press department has announced that Audi boss Rupert Stadler will present the new A3 Cabriolet from the company's factory in Gyor, Hungary on Friday. No further details have been revealed yet, but look for pics and specs on the car at that time...

I will be VERY brave, and say that this car looks good,

Not ''my cup of tea'', but much, much better than rendering pic's and MUCH, MUCH better than BMW series 1 cabrio.

What engines can we expect here ?

Would not buy one, but have to admit that it looks very good (open AND closed, as opposed to the CoupeCabrio's)

And another thing - Audi is in my opinion the master in light design (especially the rear lights look very appealing, not to forget another variation of the LED daytime lights).

No other manufacturer gives so much attention to light design.

I totally agree with this, as with most VAG products. I saw my first R8 on the street yesterday just stunning.

Though i don't really like the head lamp units they put in the A3. I expected it to be worse.

There isn't, and there isn't going to be S3 or RS 3 Sportback, so no go for a Cabriolet either. Alltough, I have to leave that possibility, you NEVER know with Audi. :D

today I spotted the A3 Convertible in Ingolstadt without any stickers. I had no camera or mobilephone with me. It looks really, really nice in Person. It was a white one with a black soft top... great car. The rear lights look fantastic.

One nice second car! With a 3.2 or S3 engine it sure is a lot fun.
