Morgan Aero 8.

Any Morgan fanatics here? (Leadfoot? Too "parvenue" for you? To brash? ;-)

Drove an Aero 8 recently. Great car. Only a Pagani has more road presence. Glorious noise. Like Spitfires in the Battle of Britain (Shh! don't mention the Kraut motor) WW2 ergonomics though. The clutch pedal is trickier to moderate then a Mid East peace summit.

Great driving experience though, white scarf in the wind, "fill 'er up old chap!", "For Queen and Empire!", Picnic basket in the back for 5 o'clock tea.

Let's just say I might get to drive one quiet a lot in 2009.

Never driven one but I have seen a few, it an acquired taste and you don't buy it for performance, comfort and anything like that. Like you said it's the sense of occasion that you are buying into.

I personally wouldn't buy one but can understand why others would.

The Wisemann is not an established brand, it is very expensive and is too Germanic, might as well buy a BMW in the first place. Probably much harder to re-sell too.
