The new S4 is quite tempting. Especially if available with the DSG. However, as I plan to do quite a lot of mileage on the car I have worries about the long term reliabitity. Does anybody have any experience with heavily used DSG cars ? Can the DSG handle 200 000km without huge financial injections/complete replacement etc. ?

There is NO DSG available for the S4. Only good old slush-o-matic.

Having in mind that DSG is five years in the constant production, I think that all those ''start problems'' are solved and that you don't have anything to worry about...

Have now worries ... The DSG box is produced in Japan... so i dont think there will be much problems with it. I have DSG in my Daily driver to today and just love it :jlol:
