My father, whos Ibis R8 will be here before years end, checks out this board all the time, but doesn't really post. He asked me to post what he saw on AudiWorld on his behalf.
He knows carbon fiber isn't easy to get for the US R8's but, it seems that Gallery Automotive Group will now be able to get CF for the R8 and at much better prices then the dealer. My dad is going to order door blades from them b/c he couldn't get it ordered with his car. He also heard that CF parts won't be made available on future US R8's. I'm not sure where he heard this or if it's 100% true.
I've seen the carbon fiber on one of the Rival Motorsport cars and the quality is amazing. I've already ordered CF mirrors and the flat bottom section of the RS4 steering wheel for my RS4 based on what I saw on the Rival car. I can't wait.
