As i understood it - chief of VW Group motorsports is a little bit exagerated :hihi:
He will be the "representative" of VW Group motorsports - as a supplement to the existing squad (Dr Wolgang Ulrich still runs Audi Sport).
He is supposed to bring in good advise, insights and so forth.
By the way - before his current ties with BMW he was racing for Audi in the late 80' in the US (1988 - Audi 200 quattro Trans AM, 1989 Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO) and won the DTM title in 1990 for audi with the Audi V8 quattro. :thumb:

Was it not him who lapped the ring in under 8 mins in the X5 LeMans. Maybe he's been enrolled to do the final development work on the Q7v12TDi among his other duties. :hahahehe:
