Let me guess before I even read it... It's improved but still not as nice to drive as a BMW 3er?
Does anyone else besides me prefer the interior of the B7 Audis rather then the B8? Tha latter one actually looks a little dated, like it's from the late 90's.

not me, this car is a class ahead of where it was. you're on the ball getting your bagging in so early in the thread - you're normally half way down the page.

I actually love the new A4. It's bigger, but I still think it looks great. I really love the bodywork for the standard model never mind the S-Line :jlol:

I know. But I just wanted to give my opinion on the bodywork since the thread isnt about just the "interior". Anyway, about the interior, I guess it's down to your own preference. I really love the new A4 interior.

I think B7 looks more modern. It's the same with BMW. I prefer e46 interior to the e90.

I prefer E46 too. Only because the E90 looks flat. The lines are very horizontal which adds to this look. Have you ever seen it without I-drive? it looks even flatter! I really prefer the chunkier look of the E46 Interior.

I would agree that some of the switch gear isn't as good as the old car, namely the MMI controls on the centre console. But the rest of the plastics are right up there with the old car and still ahead of the competition.
If I had an complaints about the A5 and A4 it's only that I expected more from the new chassis with regards to understeer and steering feel. It not that it's bad or anything it's just great things were expected compared to the old chassis. Maybe it's me expecting to much.

I was referring to interior too. Which I think is a massive improvement - but if you don't like A6 then this is probably not your flavour either.
My only gripe is the CD player which I think looks really odd.

Really? That would really be unfortunate if Audi is going cheapo in the interior department.

Dissappointing if true, but could be because of early models, there is always some problem with early production models, even with Audis. You should wait at least a year and everything will be fine.
