It's probably best if you select the right language on the translation software you are using. It's an SUV slightly larger than an X3, nothing like a roadster.

yes i know its a little SUV, but it will be a Q5 roadster (a little SUV with no roof) Concept on this show, it will be near the finish of the normal Q5.

Sounds more like Q3, Q5 shouldn't be far from production ready.

I love the silver ones, looks a bit like a Q7 v12TDi that's been put in the wash. And now that it's is using the MPL chassis you have a much shorter front over-hang.

I agree again lol. Silver ones are beautiful. From spypics they arent 100% and the front is actually the Q7 V12TDi but I'm sure it'll be a cross between the Q7 and the Q5 Concept they released earlier.

I've just found this picture on the net:
http://www.a5.hu/kepgaleria/1349/1349_audiq5spy1_n2.jpg

The site claims that this is not a Q7 but the new Q5 without any covering, parking besides Audi factory, Ingolstadt. This photo was made in August, so not really new, but i haven't seen before so posted it here. I'm not 100% sure about they are right, because they also claim it will debut in Geneva, 2008. Sorry, i think it is useless to post the link where the picture is, because all writings are in hungarian, so you wouldn't understand a word.

It is Q7 V12 TDI

Toto89

Seems to be that...it's quite interesting how sure that article claims that this Q7 like car is the uncovered Q5. I also don't want to believe this but according to the spy photos, final model will look very similar to Q7, thats for sure.

The Shanghai car looks more like a Q5 and the LA looks more like a Q3... Size wise atleast?

Overall, I really like the look of that. But one question: Is Audi stupid or just retarded? How could you ever take an "offroader" seriously with LED lights at the bottom of the front brush guard?!?

No Q5 :(

To some of you guys, I guess your "sources" were wrong.

I posted this message in another blog, but I thought I would do it here as well as I think it applies to the discussion regarding Audi's presence at the Los Angeles International Auto Show:

Audi sometimes does weird model releases to questions nobody asked? Like the Audi Crossover Cabriolet Quattro(hmm?) Audi should have just brought over the RS6 Avant to the LA Auto Show for the Wow! factor and should have dedicated a special area (format) for its RS/S quattro GmbH performance line with new models and historic models placed next them the way Mercedes-Benz adds the AMG section at the show. Audi always underperforms at the LA Auto Show which is strange as Southern California is one their highest performing markets. I guess another normal day at Audi of America's marketing and public relations department. I really hope someone from their organization reads this so they can get a clue already! Also, bring some historic vehicles to the display to show your 100 year racing and premium history. Show more heritage Audi at the show. Americans are totally unaware of it. Also, MB had its diesel display there already. Yet, no diesel promotion from Audi at the show either. But yet they want to be seen as the diesel king in the US. Hello! Anyone working at AoA's marketing and PR department?

As much it pains me to say, Audi could learn a thing or two from Mercedes-Benz's presentation style at these shows.

Sorry, had to rant...<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

While LA market is big, the Detroit autoshow is the REAL BIGGEST US autoshow. It gets more coverage worldwide.

I agree, Detroit motor show gets MUCH more world wide attention.
