Reasonable price for 2004?

As mentioned in one of my first posts many months ago, the RIV (REgistars of Imported Vehicles) agency here in Canada had both the 2003 and the 2004 RS6 models as non-importable. I see now that there list includes only the 2003 models. Not entirely certain why other than possibly some confusion on their end. It's important to note that only 90 models were imported by Audi Canada into the country and they were all 2004 model year. I'm doing more research with the RIV on this to see if there is just a typo or in fact that the list has been updated in the past couple of months (which they do from time to time). IF so I might just be able to get myself into a 2004 RS6.:jlol:

In searching the auto and auction sites for used cars I have only seen 2003's for sale. I haven't been searching all that long and curious if there are that many 2004's for sale out there. IF so what is a reasonable price that I can expect to pay??

I may be wrong, but I believe all RS6's were produced in 2003. Some obviously were left on showroom floors and in transit on Dec 31st. So people may refer to their RS6's as 2004's because that's when they bought them. But I don't believe there was a 2004 production year.

Can someone with more knowledge correct me or confirm?

I think that RS6s were only made for Europe in 2004...that link doesn't work, too.

Hello,

the RS6 is produced till end 2004. From 06/2004 it was the RS+ you never got in America or Canada. So you should get a 2004 model till April 2004. I have a RS6 non Plus from 4/04.

Not sure about Canada, but all US version RS6's were MY 2003. Many cars were sold well into 2004 but all stickers were 2003. This was mainly because the RS6 did not meet US emissions standards for 04.

My car is produced 03/04, but it's euro version as well.

The 04 version has Euro4 emission standards cause of the Americans. The older once still have only Euro3
