Hi everyone,
finally my new winter car has arrived.
The R8 is already sleeping in his little heated box.

The allroad 3.0 Tdi is full optional excl. sunroof, tined windows in the rear and trailer hitch.
The car has been already modified by ABT to 272 HP, as you can order all Audi's like this in switzerland directly
from the general importer of Audi/VW/Porsche as they distribute
also ABT products in Switzerland. This Chip Tuning will NOT effect the Audi warranty.

OMG I want it :)

So chipping @ ABT doesn't affect your warranty in CH?

not at all , AMAG is the gerneral importer of AUDI / Volkwagen Seat etc and ABT.
They handel all the warrenty's. You can order all AMAG car's with chip's from ABT.

Yeah, but Amag is a huge rip-off. 4500chf for an exhaust + instalation.

It looks great with those wheels and the blacked out guards, nice call! I've left Mrs's with the grey guards on it as she's only going to bounce it off poles sooner or later but seeing that it looks worth the risk.

Great car & great Audi garage (R8 & allroad) :thumb: - please give us your opinion on performance after it's broken in.

Had a chance to drive an allroad (besides other Audis) at a local Audi driver day event - both on and offroad. Handled well.

Greetings
seb.

What's the torque rating from ABT?

Best garage ever, btw. Pure and simple.

Yeah, but Amag is a huge rip-off. 4500chf for an exhaust + instalation.

When something is broken on the car, every CHF you might have paid to much is worth it. Other Tuners will always try to get out of their warrenty given.
I had this once with a broken Turbo, they have not even said one word, just repaired the car, done. NO invoice.
On someone who had the same issue but not Chip tuned by AMAG/ABT in Switzerland the Tuner, a big and well known company in Switzerland, said that the Turbo had a problem and that they can not be held resposabile for this. AMAG said car is out of warrenty as it's modified.

Yes you feel the 39 HP and 100mn specially above 160km/h the 3.0 TDi really starts pushing. I pushed once a friend with a S4 B7 avant with autogearbox. From 120km/h up i had no chance but from 180km/h he didn't pulled off and we have been driving next to each other.

Great car & great Audi garage (R8 & allroad)
you missed out the S8 build 04/2007and wifes A6 3.0 TDI S Line 02.2007 ABT :hahahehe:

What's the torque rating from ABT?
550nm

You get a mix ( City and freeway ) of 8.2l on 100km
Freeway with cruise control within the swiss speedlimits 6.2 down to 5.9, it rocks.

Still, must be rough going from an R8 to a station wagon. ;-)

Ti-Mike

only as winter ski resort car,
A6 no space
S8 no space and with 20" wheels not really a winter car.
R8 is my track day toy.

So, you just need A3, A4 and Q7 to complete Audis line up. :hihi:

Ti-Mike

A3 and A4 are not my kind as well as the Q7, the Q7 is to heavy.
A5 3.0 Q TDi is ordered for my wife but will be not delivered before March / April 2008 as we have ordered the car with automatic gearbox

Great car - drove one with stick while in Germany for the IAA .

As i have driven the "old" 3.0 TDI as well (and many other TDIs) - this new 3.0 TDI engine is something different.

Revs more freely, higher revband, smoother - your wife will like it :thumb: , and so might you :hihi: . do you plan to ABT it as well?

Hi Roadrunner,
thanks for the feedback about the 3.0 Tdi engine, looking forward to get the car.
We have ordered the ABT kit, not the 300 HP, omly the 272 kit, as the Audi dealer has offered this for free, as he couldn't give much discount on the A5.

This is the contract and equipment list:

Hi florin08,
because the car will be driven on a lot of road with gravel, going up to the ski resorts and
on our old allroad 2.7 TDi the looked beaten up by the gravel after one or two trips.

My italian is not that good - but i do know the Audi extras - perfect choise :thumb:

The meteor grey should look good, and you do have my taste: the whole S-Line package inside and out as i understand it. Only one difference: i like the s-line aluminium trim, you seem to have taken the piano black (5TL).

Look forward to your pics and report when it arrives.

Greetings
seb.

Yes we have taken the piano black inside (5TL) i did have the alu inside my RS4B7. Let's see how it will come out. Still no exact date of delivery as the (eco system ) seems to be a problem.

ECO System, all A5 Automatics will come with this system. you can disactivate this in the setup by your self.
If you stop the car on a red light you can switch the car of and start when the light turns green, without touching the gear selector.
Well let's see.

Hey Ti-Mike , you've got some really nice cars , what interest me more is the fact that you have an R8, very very nice, if it were me I would pick a gallardo , but still
very impressive.
