VW Tiguan, opinions.

VW released it's ''compact'' SUV, I would like to hear some of your views about it, or to make it simple, do you like it ?

What kind of job did VW do with it... ?

i already watched an tiguan testdrive on german television and id say i really like this tiguan... the interieur is really really wonderfully made, also the styling of the chassis is very nice in my eyes.
the only thing they really claimed was the off-road ability of the tiguan, but for me thats not important. i guess its a very stylish familycar.

i like the idea of two different noses, 18 degree and 28..... but car look like huge Golf Plus, even the interior is copied from Golf+..... but i think it is a good crossover...

Well, it's a more useable size then the Touareg. Here in Switzerland those tanks are just rough to park sometimes.

I still deciding whether to place an order on one for wee wifie. She will of course want the GTi engined one but I reckon the 170hp TDi will be the better choice for resale.

Much, much better IMHO... Fantastic power as well. That engine is little bit to tourqe for just front wheel drive, with 4MOTION like Tiguan it's fantastic solution.
