Carrera GT Crash Settled for $4.5m
The lawsuit was recently settled for a reported total of approximately $4.5 million. The contributions to the settlement were about 49% from the estate of the driver, 41% from the track owners and the event organizers, 8% from Porsche, and 2% from the driver of the Ferrari that was claimed to have triggered the crash.

I read that and it's the reply to why all Porsches will have ESP after this.

Then the problem will be if you disconnect it. Imaging if you disconnect it and get into an accident??? You will get sued. I think we might end up seeing permanent ESPs... at least in the States.

I thought on first reading this, accidents happen on trackdays and it's unfortunate but no one can be blamed or sued for such a thing, but after seeing the map of the track it's not the two drivers that were to blamed but the track owners themselves, this concrete wall was an accident waiting to happen.
