Here are pictures of an Audi R8 with wheels made of carbon.

They are 20" and the weight is 7.8 kg (front) and 8.9 kg (rear).

These are the same wheels you can order as an option on the Koenigsegg CCX, Ascari A10, Callaway C16 and Mosler MT900S.

I remember we once discussed about the price of these wheels and it was not chap at all. I wonder how much do they improve the performance of the car in let's sat Hokkenheim(time wise).

@The RS6...

They are not on the R8 ... these pictures only show the same wheel on an another car... in this case an Aston Martin :)

The exclusive US distributor is Rennworx. Cost is around $2150ea for 9x19's. Plus the custom torx wheel bolts are $1200 (set of 20).

If anyone gets a set, sell me your R8 wheels!
