What 997 was been used, was it a Carrera S? Plus for the price of a R8 you could put the power pack on the Carrera S and then things get a lot closer and more interesting with regards to acceleration.

I believe it was a Targa. Leadie is correct. Put the Power Pack on the Carrera S and things would be more interesting. However based on a number of track times, i can still see the R8 hovering around the 4.2 mark for consistent 0-60 times. Those a very good times. I just love the fact that the cars are so equally matched! I love both of them!!! However I would choose the R8 in a heartbeat.
