MTM RS6 1 page review in Autocar 23

p. 36 in this weeks Autocar (4/6/2003) has a review of the MTM RS6.

543bhp @ 5880rpm
530lb ft @ 3160rpm

0-60mph 4.1secs
Top Speed 195mph (unrestricted) !!

Total Price £67,922

Aparently 26 cars are already converted in the UK alone.

Autocar reckoned it eats E55s on straights but its ride and steering are disappointing.

They also suggest upgrading the brakes and reckon you'll lose your licence !!

I get Autocar every week, and they always mark Audis down for "inert" steering.

I don't agree though. I've owned Porsche 911s, an M3, and an M5, and I can't see anything wrong with the RS6 steering compared with those cars. OK, the 911 was best, but the Audi is front-engined/4WD so needs far more power assistance.

i'm with Michael,
it seems to me that the only way you can have BMW steering
is if the tester "sees" the propellor badge on the car. then it's
like... WHOA, this car has great feed back.:confused: oh well,
testers can think whatever they like. MAKE MINE RS6!!!:cheers:

Thanks for the video! I'd better start checking that site out more often, they have some sweet stuff there... :cool2:

I forgot to say that those quad exhaust suit the RS 6 really good.
