View Full Version : Will the new RS6 Saloon have the Avant wheel arches?

I was just wondering if the Saloon would have the same wheel arches as the Avant variant. I still remember this old spyshot:

IMHO, it will have big arches... It would be shame if they make that much diference between them...

I agree that there will be very pronounced arches, but will they be the same as the Avant? The Avant really suits those arches but I'm not sure if the Saloon will. I was actually under the impression that the arches would be flared out just like in the first pic I posted...hmm...

I would expect the arches to stay but the real answer is I don't know, I have told you all that the saloon will get the face-lift and this includes front and rear re-modelling so only Audi knows if the two can work together. I hope so because these arches are bitchin'.

One of the spyshots of the 'chequerboard' pattern saloon, at the Ring, definitely looked like it had the squared-off arches. I think it was this shot that alerted people to the different shape.

Agreed, but you have to remember that this test mule is a pre fae-lift model.
