It's a new year for us the jews, you have yours, we have ours.
After all 2007 , 2008 ,2009 ETC.. is christian countdown.
And we still count that but we also count ours and For us it's the year 5768 !!!!
So happy new year everyone!!!

This is the first among 3 holidays in the next 3 weeks so expect some more similar posts like this, Maybe you'll learn a thing or 2 or 3 about Judaism. ;)

Happy new year mate. I did knew about the count in "jew years"(is that well said?) was a lot...but not that much!!!!

Anyways, Happy New year LamboM!!!!!!!!!.

lol "jew years" ? heh , it's jewish countdown.
And yeah we are ancient, out of the 3 big religion we are the earliest, all of you came from US!
As I said, you learn something new everyday. ;)
