Here you have a German thread how to do it on a Golf V R32.
Maybe this help for a way to do it on a RS4.

I was planning to place the leds in the smae place as the S6, but I figure they are too long. I can only assume the golf has a long intake

I have spoken to 2 Audi dealers parts dept yday and neither of them can find this item, they both checked worldwide markets.

If you have the part number that would be great.
