Inital impression..? I'm underwhelmed. Looks like a cross between the Lexus GS...and the New Mondeo.
Too slab sided, and the wheels design doesn't help. Jaguars elegance has been lost in this design IMHO.

The last elegant Jag was the E-type, after that it's been all down hill.

I've always liked the XJ and previous gen XK though. The new crop just doesn't float my boat at all however...and the latest facelift on the XJ has got to be one of the worst ever!:harass:

Looks like a Toyota Camry with a blend of Acura TL...(read as boring)

Had a good look at it in the latest AUTOCAR and I am a lot more impressed with the design and style (inside and out) than I was before. There is lots to like and I think this is a design direction that Jag should have took years ago, then maybe they wouldn't have been so down the sales chart that they are presently finding themselves in.
