What struck me most is the 560Nm from the XKR vs. 430 in the R8.
That's alot more from an engine that's the same size...

you compare a normal aspirated high rev engine with an turbocharger, if R8 would have turbos on that engine for sure would have much much more torque than even the XKR!

Correct. The R8 also is pushing 420 HP and revving over the 8000rpm limit with the 4.2 Lv8. These high revving engines do not have that high of torque figures (see the V8 in the F430 and the M5's v10)
