Hi !
finally after a bad expirience with my E55 AMG ( 11 times in service during 20.000 km ) i will get my RS6 Avant next week! It will be black,...
Looking forward to get it!

As far as I'm aware of Audi doesn't offer any 'V Max' option like on the AMGs.
You have to go to a tuner.

yes they do, mine will be done by audi itselfs! i know that mtm and other offer this as well, but they tune my ecu and i have full audi warrenty!

yes it was the new E55 AMG 500hp! It is a beautiful car, but i had a car that had too much electric problems,...
Hopefully my RS6 will not have any of these issues!

YES ! It has arrived, and i have driven already 1200 km... it has a Audi ECU and goes 293 kmh!!!

Hi!
i could drive it on the "Highway" in Germany. After 1.200 km of slow driving to the car, i was able to drive the car into the speed limiter! The car is great and makes so much fun,...

fabianflach what were the problems that you ran into with your E55, because I had a last generation and my tranmission was all screwed up.

And you didn't have the speed limiter removed? That's odd, I thought all german car manufactures had agreed that no car should exceed 250 km/h? Guess Audi made a wise decision! :D

differnce between E55 & RS6 - tough to say:
The transmisson is a bit better at the Merccedes 6 gear against 5 of the RS6. The quality of the RS6 is much better than the AMG, driving i can not really say because i just have 2100 km driven.
The speedlimiter has been removed by Audo itself, you can have this as on option, same with AMG. From my person feeling the car has more that 451 PS, ...

Oh, didn't know that. As a factory option you mean? Not after-market? If so, then I don't get why it's an "option" for the RS 6's. Maybe as a safety reason conserning the lifetime of the engine?

Hi Fabian,
1.) You wrote that you had electrical problems with your MB. My mom has a MB CLK 320 and the car is also more in the garage than on the road. I think MB has a general electrical problem. After 2 weeks vacation the battery is completely down.
2.) You have removed the speedlimiter by Audi. I didn't. But as i wrote before in this forum, on my way to munich i drove 290 km/h always waiting for the speedlimiter. But nothing happened. I really ask myself if there is really a limiter installed or if they forgot it on my car.
Ok enough theory for now, let's drive our baby and enjoy the hp's.
