what is the best way to launch an rs6 ? also, for max acceleration from the line, is one tranny mode better than another ... do you just throw in in Sport and floor it letting the car upshift for you, or do you go over to manual triptonic and upshift yourself ? thanks ! ! !

TSX500 - When I ran my best ET i was using S-Mode and applying the brake pedal at the start line while stalling the car upto ~2500rpm.
I will next time be usng the manual and see how i go

I have tried many different ways and think it is vehicle specific. My best time was in sport. The consensus was to keep it around 2500 rpm and come off the brake.
