Hi out there,
i heard some time ago, Audi would build their future cars in
transaxle architecture.
Does this mean, the gearbox is put to the rear axle ?
(Like in Porsche)
Or do i mess things up here?
Not sure, though there was a point a few years ago when VW and Maserati were going to share technology, VW with DSG (I think) and Maserati their transaxle layout.
I thought this fell through along time ago, clearly that was not the case.
