Yesterday when I drove the RS6 MTM back to Ingolstadt. The car was absolutely mazing: very stable, very strong, very safe. Pure pleasure:

Benman, do you meen the speed limits or the speed limiter? Isn't that the first thing MTM removes when they chip it?

i'm reffering to the pesky speed governor of 155mph. although
i hear that audi's limiter usually doesn't kick in till 165:cheers:

Anyone know the mph to kmh conversion...
I've only had mine to 170mph but would like to know what that is in kmh

mph multiplicated with 1,36 makes km/h.. right?
228mph make 310km/h.. I think :=)

No the factor is:
1 mph = 1.609 km/h
Thus, 170 mph = 273.53 km/h
and 300 km/h = 186.45 mph

270 km/h is quite fast. Did you notice that at that speed you begin to have tunnel vision?
With my chipped S6 I did a true 276 km/h., calculated with engine revs.
The speedo was reading 285 km/h it was slightly downhill.
My S6 gets to 270 on th clock in a fair bit of time, but there after it takes forever...
I'm sure the RS6 does it in half the time

Yes, I supposed the forced induction helps there...
Totally agree with you about the tunnel vision.. anything over 160mph is bloody quick.. (255kmh)..
What gets me is how quickly you are covering ground.. We have a long piece of straight public road that at 70mph seems to go on for ages, at 255kmh you cover it so fast that it seems just a small stretch.
And have you noticed that anything like a bend (even a very gentle bend) at anything over 150mph (240kmh) seems like a bloody right angle.. the car stays put but it's hang on time.. NOT for the faint hearted :incar:
And of course, if another driver pulls out, you have a punture or anything else.. that is it of course... so I may not be trying for the 200mph in my car :bow:
