i was amazed about the new a6...jesus christ...very very agressive and sexy car!

But that presumably is the NEW A6 and not a facelift eh?

I for one would like to see a facelift and an engine upgrade soon ... This is what I will be looking/hoping for ...

2.0 TDI ... from the current 140bhp/320nm to 170bhp/350nm ... please! I mean, the 520d is absolutely eating it with its 163bhp and 350nm. More power needed in this entry diesel range.

2.0 TFSI ... This is a tricky one since if they up it to say the VW GTI level of 200bhp it will probably cannibalize the 2.4. I guess it already beats as it is but 200 bhp would be too much I think for marketing reasons.

2.4 ... a bestseller, they are not going to change that I think. Perhaps a mild tweak to 185bhp from the current 177bhp (i.e. just to show something).

2.8 ... Not going to change anything here I think since this one is brand new.

3.2 ... Well, shouldn't they put in they new 265bhp valvelift powerplant from the A5? I think so.

3.0 TDI ... same thing as above I think; the A5 new 3.0 A5 powerplant with 500nm should go here too.

4.2 ... I guess this is sorted since they already put in the 350 bhp FSI engine which is also in the A8 and Q7.

4.0 TDI ... I for one would like to see this engine in the A6 to counter the 535D and E420 CDI.

S6 ... no changes

RS6 ... well, this is out of the standard range I think and we all know what it going to do (more or less :))

And this facelift should come soon Audi, you hear me!

This is really looking good, alltough I'm not 100% sure this is the exact look of the facelifted C6 A6, i'm more than sure it needs to get some restyling, so...

...hoping this is the BINGO !

Well, the C6.5 should look like this. All I see is a slightly new front. Audi should fix up the A6 like it did with the B6-->B7 A4.

I really don't think that all future Audi models will take the same design as the A5 ... just my opinion ;)

I disagree with that, I feel you will see this new L.E.D. light design that first appeared on the R8 and now the A5 will continue through out the rest of the range as they are face-lifted or as new model are introduced.

I don't reckon we will see the swish that the R8 and A5 have down the flanks on the saloon/avant models, this swish I think will continue but only on the coupes. Though we will soon find out for sure when the A4 is shown at Frankfurt.

This isn't the real facelift ... there are too much changes to the current model on the picture. And I think everyone has saw the new RS6 in test ... and it isn't facelifted. It would be stupid IMO to bring a facelifted A6 and an RS6 with the "old face". By the way I don't think that with the facelift they will change the engine range. So we will have to wait until September :)

you see, i think the A6 will get a facelift soon. it really would be stupid to make an RS6 with an old face and sell an updated A6 alongside it. i wouldn't be surprised if audi made a press relase soon with the updated A6.

whats with the coming rs6? is he getting the facelift too? because hes coming earlier than the facelift. and the test mules are on the "old" a6 too.

I couldn't say for a fact, but the rumor from those that knew where saying the new RS 6 does get the facelift. Again, that is just what they said...

Despite the fact that on the spyphotos we can see the oldfaced RS6, it doesn`t mean that RS6 will appear with such look. Everybody know that the majority of companies in order to keep the apperance of new models in secret test new models hided behind the apperance of old cars.

Like I said before, this would make a great face lift. But no way would this make a good new gen A6. It looks very much like the current one and the next gen would get the MLP platorm with shorter overhang.
