It was written in the forum about official press release of RS6 car to be revealed in July 07.
It's unlikely that in the remaining few days info will appear.
And My dealer who was travelling to Audi HQ told me that RS6 will likely be in the market in the second half of 2008.
So, it's a great pity but it seems that we should wait another year...

Some still suspect that it will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September...I'm hoping it will. Once the Europeans get the car, Americans should probably expect to wait a few months before we get our share. Can;t wait to get it!

I had been talking to 2 dealers here in germany which sell very high amounts of S and RS modells and thus are very good informed. Both told me the new RS6 will debut at IAA in frankfurt in sept and will be available at Q1/2008. I dont think it makes sense to do a press release before IAA. Usually Audi makes the press release when it debuts the car.

I was also told that RS6 will be in US late Fall '08....

I have been told that there has been no decision made yet whether they will bring the next RS6 here. This by a verrrrry high up the chain AoA tech.
Should know either way soon.

The only way the RS6 wouldn't be sold in the US is if Audi couldn't make it meet the emissions laws you have over here.
The M5 has it's biggest market in the US and with the even better RS6, Audi would be on to a winner.

1. def see the RS6 in sept. probably a press release prior or maybe a webpage countdown.
2. if an ultraniched car like the RS4 ragtop can make it here i am POSITIVE the new RS6 will make it to the US also. perhaps just 300. but it'll make it.
3. it'll go on sale in the US late 2008 imo.
4. and i'm sure it'll cost a pretty little penny. i'm guessing 100K. but hey, that's 10K less than an R8 :)

hope, you are right!
And also hope it won't take too much time to start sales of RS6 in far regions from Germany (USA and other countries, excluding Europe).
