Returning to the power output question of today's S Audis: This S2 had 220hp, a bit less than BMW and Mercedes, but it wasn't only a bit slower, but a bit faster than the others! And Audi had the RS2 monster as well in those times which remained without competitors in it's class. In these days we can be even happy if the RS Audis beats M's /ok, we have to wait for RS6.../ not to speak about S cars.:vgrumpy:

Well to 90mph the BMW was fastest. So it looks little bit same than nowadays. When speed rise Audi starts to loose.
